PACUARE 68%
Costa Rican estate cru. It's flavor is mild with low acidity, upfront berry, fruit and golden raisin with a lingering finish of hazelnut and caramel.
The source of this chocolate is from an exemplary certified organic estate in Costa Rica with an evolving wildlife corridor offering its employees equitable wages and benefits.
Dagoba is co-funding research on sloth populations at the estate, which will help assess overall ecological health. Its name was inspired by the Pacuare River, which cuts through virgin rainforest gorges that shelter threatened bird, animal and insect species.
